Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Michael Todd DMD
Dr. Todd graduated from SIUE in 1990, and then the SIU School of Dental Medicine in 1994. He completed a two year residency in 1996 and has been in private practice for over 20 years. He has extensive experience in family dentistry and has completed over 8,000 dental cases under general anesthesia. Dr. Todd has served on the University of Missouri Cleft Palate Team, and has been a regional consultant on development and implementation of dental services throughout the state.
Dr. Lisa Haines
Dr. Lisa Haines earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois – Urbana/Champaign. Upon graduating from U of I, she continued her education and in 2003 graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Since then she has worked in private practice until recently joining us here at Accent Dental in 2014. She spends her free time with her family, which includes three lovely daughters.
Dr. Eric Hosler
Dr. Hosler earned his undergraduate degree in biology at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. He continued his education at Southern Illinois University-School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2014. Since graduation, he has split time between working in private practice and at a pediatric office, before joining Accent Dental. Dr. Hosler lives in the St. Louis area with his wife and enjoys playing golf and spending time outdoors.
Dr. Jessica Yoon
Dr. Beth Lansford
Dr. Beth Lansford, a native of St. Louis, attended University of Missouri-Columbia for her undergraduate degree. She graduated from the UMKC School of Dentistry in 2011 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Furthering her dental education, she spent two years at SIU’s School of Dental Medicine in Alton where she obtained an Advanced Education in General Dentistry certificate. Since then, Dr. Lansford has worked almost exclusively with children. When not practicing dentistry, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two children. Dr. Lansford is thrilled to be a part of the Accent Dental team!

Dr. Elizabeth Young
Originally from Springfield, MO, Dr. Young attended Missouri State University, acquiring a business degree. She later went on to St. Louis University to acquire a degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and gained years of extensive experience in the medical field working at Barnes Jewish Hospital before following her passion in dentistry. She then pursued her dental education at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, IL. Dr. Young currently lives in St. Louis with her husband and son. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, as well as indulging in her hobbies of reading, writing, and travelling.
Dr. Shannon Wall
Dr. Karlton Smith
Karlton Smith is a 2019 graduate of the UMKC School of Dentistry in Kansas City, Missouri. He served as the president of the Xi Psi Phi dental fraternity while at UMKC. After earning his DDS degree, he completed a one-year hospital-based general practice residency at Truman Lakewood hospital (now University Health Lakewood Medical Center).
Dr. Smith returned to Accent Dental in 2020, having worked here as an assistant from 2014-2016. He discovered his passion for working with kids during his time as an assistant and decided to make them the focus of his career by “coming home” to the team.
Dr. Daniela Riegel
Dr. Riegel completed her dental education at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, in Alton, IL. She earned her DMD degree in 2013. After graduation, Dr. Riegel worked as a general dentist for 5 years, during which time she learned that treating children is her true passion! Dr. Riegel then decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry, and she attended the St. Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education and earned her Pediatric Dentistry Certificate and Masters of Science in Dentistry in 2020. During her residency, Dr. Riegel focused on all phases of pediatric dentistry, including comprehensive oral healthcare for the well child, the medically compromised child, and the child with special healthcare needs, from infancy and childhood through adolescence.
In her spare time, Dr. Riegel enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. They love traveling, swimming, going on walks and bike rides, playing disk golf, watching movies, playing board games, puzzles, and building with Legos.
Dr. Whitney Holdener
Dr. Allyson Isenhower
Dr. Isenhower earned her undergraduate degree in biology at Millikin University where she played volleyball while balancing research and pre-dental courses. She continued her education at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2023. Originally from the other side of the river, Dr. Isenhower now lives in the St. Louis area. When not in the office, she enjoys playing volleyball, golf, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends!
Joining Accent Dental has been a dream come true for Dr. Isenhower as her passion has always been working with children. Dr. Isenhower loves being a dentist because it requires creating connections with patients and continual learning, all the while incorporating artistic creativity.
